The Amazon Great Freedom Festival sale is scheduled for August 6. During the upcoming five-day sale, the e-commerce giant will offer deals and discounts on products across all categories. These include smartphones, laptops, consumer electronics, TVs, home appliances, fashion & beauty products, Amazon Devices, home & kitchen, furniture and more.
Prime members, however, will get early access to the sale. That means, they will have access to all the deals and discounts a day before other Amazon users. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
Amazon Great Freedom Festival sale to start early for Prime members
According to the new banner running on the Amazon India website, the Great Freedom Festival sale will start 24 hours before the sale date. This means Prime members can grab the deals and discounts starting August 5 at midnight.
What do you need to get early access to deals and discounts
As mentioned above, the early access window is only applicable for Prime members. So, you’ll
need an Amazon account with Prime membership. If you don’t have Prime membership you can pay Rs 179 for one month, Rs 459 for three months or Rs 1499 for a year to get it.
Amazon Prime membership is also available free with some Airtel and Vodafone postpaid plans.
Sale date and time for regular Amazon users
Amazon Great Freedom Festival sale for regular users will start at 12:00 AM on August 6 and will run through 11:59 PM on August 10.

All purchases made using SBI credit cards will be eligible for a 10% discount.
Deals and discounts
Up to 40% discount on mobile and accessories
Shoppers can save up to 40% on smartphones and accessories from OnePlus, Xiaomi, Samsung, Techno and others during the Amazon Freedom sale.
Up to 75% discount on electronics and accessories
Buyers can also get up to 75% discount on electronics and accessories. These include laptops, fitness bands, TWS headphones, cameras, Amazon devices, computer accessories, storage devices and more.
Special price stores to find better deals
Amazon has also set up curated stores to help shoppers find good deals. For instance, there are price-sensitive stores like ‘Under Rs 99’, ‘Unders Rs 199’ and more. Shoppers can also look for Blockbuster Deals, 8PM deals, Budget Bazar and more.
