eRise to launch 5 electric two wheelers in coming months – Times of India

eRise – Drive Electric, the automotive arm of KL Group recently announced its entry in the Indian market. The manufacturer is gearing up to launch long-range electric two-wheelers, built specifically for Indian road conditions.
According to the official statement, the company intends to launch three low-speed electric scooters immediately and two high-speed vehicles in the coming 3 months. eRise is planning to sell more than 10,000 vehicles this year.
The Made in India electric scooters shall be manufactured in the 95,000 sq ft. facilities in Rohtak, Haryana, with a capacity of producing 30,000 vehicles/year.
The company aims to roll-out its electric scooters with its key features focused on safety as per the official release.
During the first phase, eRise intends to expand its footprint to 200+ dealerships in India at 175 locations.
eRise three low-speed scooters that are expected to be released in the coming months will come equipped with various functionalities, such as keyless start, multiple speed modes, anti-theft alarm feature, regenerative braking, mobile app connectivity and real-time tracking.
