Ola Electric also plans to enter LATAM, ASEAN and EU in the next phase, to increase its market presence in upto five international markets.
In an official statement, Bhavish Aggarwal, Founder and CEO of Ola Electric said, “ Ola is committed to creating the EV paradigm for the rest of the world by building half of the vehicles that the world needs right here in India. Our international expansion not only means that we will as a company be able to serve customers in these similar regions, but it is also testament to the fact that India will lead the EV revolution for the world.”
Currently, Ola Electric is valued at $5 Billion to become a vertically integrated mobility company, says the official statement. Also, the company revealed it will be launching the electric car in 2024.
According to the information provided earlier, the Ola electric car will sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 4 seconds. The electric car will feature an aerodynamic design and will likely offer a range of up to 500 km per charge.
