Prior to this, the Tiago NRG was only available with the range-topping XZ variant of the hatchback, with prices starting from Rs 6.83 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom).
The Tiago XT NRG gets 14-inch wheels with dual-tone wheel caps, electric power & tilt adjustable steering, front and rear power windows, an infotainment system by Harman, steering mounted audio and phone controls, 4 speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, electric adjustment for ORVM, height adjustable driver’s seat, a digitised instrument cluster, and so on.
Powering the Tiago NRG is the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder NA petrol engine as the standard version of the hatchback. This engine puts out 86 PS power and 113 Nm torque. The transmission options include a 5-speed MT, as well as a 5-speed AMT. Tata offers the Tiago NRG in four different paint schemes, namely Cloudy Grey, Fire Red, Polar White, and Foresta Green.
In addition to that, Tata Motors has also announced a few updates for the standard Tiago XT, XTA and XT iCNG, including 14-inch Hyperstyle wheels, height adjustable driver’s seat, rear parcel shelf, and so on. The company has also introduced an optional Rhythm pack for the Tiago XT petrol variant that includes features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, rear camera and 4 tweeters.
